Your personality is what makes you unique

I was born in San Pablo City, Philippines, the sixth of eight children. Despite growing up in a modest home, my parents instilled in me the importance of hard work, faith, and education. Their sacrifices inspired me to excel, eventually graduating as my class’s valedictorian. I later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts, a milestone I take great pride in.

In 1991, I moved to Canada as a caregiver, a life-changing experience that taught me resilience, compassion, and patience. Adapting to a new country was difficult, but it opened doors to personal growth and new opportunities.

Becoming a single mother to my son, Tyrell, was one of the most rewarding challenges of my life. Raising him taught me the power of unconditional love and the importance of leading by example.

In 2014, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The fear and uncertainty were overwhelming, but with faith, prayer, and support from family and friends, I faced each day with courage and gratitude. I learned to treasure every moment and focus on what truly matters.

In 2015, I survived a severe car accident that deepened my belief in the gift of life and the importance of making each day count. This experience also inspired me to share my story with others facing their own battles.

Today, I look back at my struggles as stepping stones to growth. As an author and advocate, I am dedicated to inspiring others to embrace their own stories of resilience. Life may be full of challenges, but with faith, determination, and love, we can overcome anything.

My mission is to encourage others to live with purpose, embrace gratitude, and find joy in the journey. It’s never too late to rise, rebuild, and shine, no matter where you start.
